How end users install extensions

Team members can install the browser extension by following these setup steps.

Set up and manage extension access

Admins can automatically install the extension for users or control where it appears.

To auto-install the extension:

  1. Set up an ExtensionSettings policy in your browser.
  2. For standard installation, use the value normal_installed.

To block access to specific sites:

  • In Chrome or Edge: use the runtime_blocked_hosts setting.
  • In Firefox: use the restricted_domains setting.
